How many modular courses (modules) am I required to attend?

All students are required to attend the following number of in-person modular courses over the course of their studies:

• MDiv/BDiv students = at least 3 in-person modular class (2 for student that began before Fall 2023).
• MATS/DTS students = at least 2 in-person modular class (1 for student that began before Fall 2023).
• MABC/DBC students = at least 2 in-person modular class (1 for student that began before Fall 2023).
• MAPS/DPS students = at least 1 in-person modular class.

There will be three forms of exemption

Distance Exception

Students who reside in other countries can apply for an exemption if they are unable to afford the trip.

Hardship Compassion

Students whose financial circumstances prohibit them from being able to attend will also be able to apply for an exemption.

Transfer Modification

Students who transfer in a large percentage of their credits (or current students who have already completed a large percentage of their required credits) may also apply for an exemption or a reduction.
